Unique Client Solutions are excited to welcome the Olympic torch come to Sheffield on
Monday 25th July. Prior to the Olympics, the torch will spend 70
days touring the United Kingdom.
The Olympic
torch is a symbol of the Olympic Games, which comes from Greek origins; the
torch has 8000 holes around the outside which signify each inspirational torch
bearer whom will be taking part in the celebrations. Unique Client Solutions enjoy events such as the Olympic
Games which recognise inspirational and talented individuals.
The Olympic
torch will be carried by 8000 nominated torch bearers; each torch bearer has
their own personal achievement or story they have shared with their community.
Unique Client Solutions will gather on Monday to see the torch arrive in
Sheffield. There will be community events and family fun throughout the day
from 12pm in the city centre and from 3pm in Hillsborough Park.
The Olympic
torch starts its journey on Monday 25th June in Chapeltown and will
arrive at the evening celebrations at Barkers Pool at 5.30pm. Unique Client Solutions associates said “We are looking forward to the relay on Monday; it’s
great that the Olympics bring everyone together to celebrate personal
achievement. We are proud that Sheffield will be holding one of the 66 evening
celebrations on the Olympic torch’s journey around the UK.”
We would
encourage people to get involved and celebrate the arrival of the Olympic torch
at one of the events in Hillsborough or the city centre. Why not cheer the torch
bearers on from the roadside?
